What Data is Stored and Why
The only data that we collect is that which is entered on the forms that our located throughout our website. We collect this data so we can respond to your enquiries in a relevant and timely fashion.
All the personal data we collect is processed by our team in Flint, North Wales. However for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.
We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.
What we do with you Data
Any of the information you have shared with us will never be sold, shared or given away to anyone for purposes unrelated to your enquiry with us.
We will use the information you have provided to contact you with respect to the original enquiry. If instructed to do so via your communications with us, or if it is deemed appropriate, we may pass on your details to independent businesses (such as approved Res-Tec Stockists) that are relevant to your enquiry / roofing project.
You may from time to time (around once every two months) be sent updates via emails from Res-Tec that include news and technical advice associated with our business and the wider roofing industry. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. You can do this at any time by clicking the link to unsubscribe which is present in any communication sent through our mailing list.
Data retention periods
We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to ensure we are able to appropriately deal with your initial enquiry. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
What to do if you have any concerns
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted.
